The Director of BMH Orthopedics & Sports Medicine ('the Director') reports to the Vice President, Physician Services Business Development ("the VP"); in a collaborative partnership with the clinician lead of BMH Orthopedics & Sports Medicine ('clinician lead) implements the vision and direction of BMH Orthopedics & Sports Medicine ('Orthopedics) as determined by the Medical Director and Senior Leadership of the Hospital. The Director provides management support and non-clinical administrative direction to Orthopedics. In addition, the Director, oversees and operationalizes Orthopedics' total joint program. The director's goal is to ensure that the practice meets patient care, financial and operational goals and that it operates in a manner consistent with the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Medical Group ('BMHMG') and the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) mission, vision, and values.

Bachelor's degree required. Master's level education preferred.  Minimum two years recent management in physician practice or healthcare organization preferred.  Experience in Orthopedic medical specialty to include outpatient Orthopedic workflow experience, knowledge of an orthopedics service line and familiarity with Orthopedic quality measures and related regulatory requirements is preferred.s level education preferred.
