The Division of Humanities and Fine Arts at Keuka College seeks adjunct instructors to teach composition and literature courses . Required: Master’s degree in English or related field; doctorate preferred; demonstrated excellence in college teaching. Essential Responsibilities

• Instruct students in courses in the English program
• Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus, goals, and objectives
• Design, administer, and grade essays, examinations, and applicable projects to accurately assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and actively engage students
• Maintain regular office hours to meet one-on-one with students
• Work with the Program Director to ensure instructional quality and program quality
• Adhere to College policies and procedure

1. Master’s degree in English, writing, or related field required; doctorate preferred
2. Demonstrated excellence in college teaching
3. Demonstrated proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and other technologies for the classroom
